Ronald Yuen

Ronald has practised exclusively in the areas of planning, government and environmental law for over 10 years, representing and advising both public and private sector clients including local governments and developers.  As a solicitor, Ronald also advised clients on infrastructure related matters, including drafting complex infrastructure agreements and infrastructure planning and charging instruments.

Prior to being called to the Bar in January 2020, Ronald was a senior solicitor at City Legal of Brisbane City Council for over 2 years from November 2017 and had the primary carriage of more than 50 appeals in the Planning and Environment Court.  Before joining the Council, Ronald was a Senior Associate at Colin Biggers & Paisley Lawyers for a number of years.

Ronald’s practice focuses on land use, property, infrastructure charging, land resumption and compensation disputes as well as enforcement and administrative law matters.
