Denika was called to the Bar in 2014 and practices in civil and commercial litigation, and planning and environment law. This includes environmental prosecutions, and Denika is presently acting on behalf of the Department of Environment and Science in the prosecution of the executive officers of Linc Energy.
Denika regularly acts on behalf of, as well as against State Departments, local authorities, developers, companies, insurers and individuals.
Prior to the Bar, Denika worked at the State Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and as the associate to Judge McGill in the District Court and Justice Gotterson in the Court of Appeal.
Denika lectures in planning law at UQ and is listed in Doyle’s Guide for planning law.
