Kate was called to the Bar in 2017 and has a broad practice, including planning and environment and family law. She has been recognised in the Doyle's Guide in both the 'Recommended' and 'Leading' categories for Leading Planning and Environment Barristers QLD.

Kate is a current committee member of the Queensland Environmental Law Association, and a former President of Queensland Young Lawyers.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Kate worked as a solicitor at a boutique commercial law firm and completed a secondment to an ASX-listed mining company as general legal counsel and assistant company secretary. Kate was also the legal associate to the Honourable Justice May AM QC of the Appeal Division of the Family Court of Australia.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Media and Communications (Dist.) from QUT.
