MADELINE RODGERS

Madeline has primarily practised in planning and environment law since commencing at the Bar. She has expertise in administrative law, competition and consumer law and native title.
 

Before being called to the Bar, Madeline practised in-house at a regional Queensland local government, and as a solicitor at the Australian Government Solicitor. At Council, she had carriage of planning and environment matters, including merits review, enforcement proceedings and declaratory proceedings, and native title matters. At the Australian Government Solicitor, she acted for and advised Commonwealth regulators in civil penalty proceedings against individuals and corporations in the Federal Court and Full Federal Court.


Madeline was Associate to a judge of the Planning and Environment Court. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Economics from The University of Queensland.
